Pissouri is one of the few remaining unspoilt villages, where traditional Cypriot Village life still goes by very slowly.
Situated off the main road half way between Paphos and Limassol, Pissouri is an ideal location for touring and exploring the rest of Cyprus.
The Village Square has several Coffee Shops, small Supermarkets, Kebab Houses and traditional family-run Tavernas. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed - but sometimes a little livelier during the summer with the occasional Cyprus Night.
The Blue Flag Beach at Pissouri Bay is approximately 2 kilometres from the village. One end of the beach is sandy and quiet for relaxed sunbathing, and safe for swimming, whilst the other near the Columbia Beach Hotel, is famous for it's watersports which include jet skis, sailing, skiing and parascending. The selection of Tavernas around the beach all offer good local food and drink, and have regular Cyprus Nights, Mezes, and open-air beach barbecues.
