The Metropole Hotel is an informal and friendly hotel, which offers exceptional value for a holiday in the town centre. It was recently refurbished and upgraded so that it provides a welcome base to which to return after a day out. It has 160 rooms on 6 floors all with private facilities and equipped with air conditioning / heating, satellite TV with an In House channel and radio and direct dial telephones. A small amount of Superior Club Rooms with large balconies have recently been introduced and in addition to being very attractively decorated these have added facilities including, Tea & Coffee Makers, Mini Bar, free use of safe, and a hair dryer. These rooms are available on request and at a supplementary charge.
